Refunds and cancellations
Terms for deposits, cancellations, and refunds on advisory claims review engagements with Brookbase Claims Review Co., Ltd..
Eligibility
Fees cover professional time and agreed deliverables. Refunds apply only as described below and in the statement of work for your engagement.
Deposits
Most engagements require a deposit of 30% to reserve reviewer time. Deposits are credited toward the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable once file access has been granted and reading has begun, except where we cancel the engagement.
Full refund
If we cancel an engagement before work starts, you receive a full refund of amounts paid for that engagement within fourteen business days, returned by the original payment method where possible.
Partial refund
If you cancel more than ten business days before the agreed start date, we refund amounts paid minus an administrative fee of 10% of the deposit. Cancellations within ten business days of the start date forfeit the deposit; work already performed is invoiced at the agreed rates and is non-refundable.
Non-refundable items
- Completed memoranda, schedules, and exhibits already delivered
- Days already worked for audit support
- Approved third-party costs (for example travel booked at your request)
Work already started
Once reviewers have begun reading files, fees for time incurred are due. Unused prepaid days on audit support may be rescheduled within three months; they are not automatically refunded.
Rescheduling and no-shows
Briefings and workshops may be rescheduled once without charge with at least five business days’ notice. Later changes or no-shows may incur a half-day fee for reserved senior reviewer time.
Refund process and timing
Email hello@system-brookbase.click with your engagement reference and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days and process approved refunds within fourteen business days of confirmation.
Method
Refunds are issued to the original bank account or payment channel used for the engagement unless we agree otherwise in writing.
